Susan (Sue) Murphy, Vice President and Trust Officer, joins ChoiceOne with 25 years of experience as a Trust Officer. Most recently, she was a Trust Officer at TCF Bank (now The Huntington National Bank) for 13 years and a Trust Officer at Huntington National Bank for 12 years. In addition, she served as Director of Planned Giving for the Porter Hills Foundation for six years and for the YMCA of Greater Grand Rapids for nearly two years.

Graduated from University of Toledo, Murphy holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. She is also a graduate of American Bankers Association – Trust School and National Graduate Trust School at Northwestern University.

Adam J. Schlusler, Vice President and Wealth Advisor, joins ChoiceOne with seven years of experience in the financial services industry. Most recently, Onesko served as Senior Vice President and Head of Business Development at Citizens State Bank in Royal Oak, and prior to that Vice President, Private Banker at Fifth Third Private Bank in Birmingham.

Onesko earned both his Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Finance and his Bachelor of Science in Business Management with a minor in Human Resources from Oakland University, Rochester.

Serving his community, Onesko is currently a board member of the Huntington Woods Men’s Club. He previously served as captain of the United Way from 2012 to 2019, chairman of the Berkley Downtown Development Authority from 2017 to 2018, and founding member of the Berkley Lions Club from 2013 to 2017.
